Project ENGINEER

job description :

The Project Engineer has a critical role in ensuring projects run smoothly from conception to completion. The main objective is to oversee the design, planning, and construction activities of a project. The Project Engineer will be responsible for reviewing plans, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and coordinating with other professionals, such as architects, contractors, and engineers.

responsibilities:

  • Schedules preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project.
  • Preparing and implementing project plans.
  • Assures the accuracy of financial forecasts which tie-in to project schedules.
  • Ensures projects are completed according to project plans.
  • Designs construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings and models utilizing computer software.
  • Researching and providing estimates for projects. Determines projects costs by calculating labor, material and related costs. Site inspections and project assessments.
  • Prepares feasibility study by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, assembling data.
  • Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules.
  • Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, verifying calculations and placements.
  • Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
  • Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
  • Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
  • Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Pay rate based on qualifications

requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, information in civil engineering technology.
  • Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus.
  • Must have excellent math skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Management.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
  • Solid working knowledge in all required software and programming languages.
  • Outstanding leaderships skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
