Pacific Rim designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned photovoltaic (PV) systems on five buildings at Andersen Air Force Base. Each PV was roof-mounted and connected to each facility’s electrical system. Pacific Rim also installed a solar inverter, a meter/monitoring system, and a government-specified Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system with a cybersecurity component.
The Pacific Rim team coordinated with the structural engineer, designer of record, and government for the design and calculations of the PV mounting system, which included roof analysis and inspection of the anchor bolt after installation.
